About Chelsey Ryan
I partner with medical device companies to develop strategies to realize opportunities and achieve commercial success throughout the product lifecycle.
I earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University, and started my career as a process engineer, a role that cultivated my ability to understand complex problems and systems. Following a desire for more exposure to customers and the day-to-day clinical context of devices, I moved into a clinical sales role, where I discovered a passion for collaborating with physicians to develop better products to impact more patients. Since then, I have spent the majority of my time in product management and strategic marketing roles, both as a FTE and independent consultant with various companies. Over the years, I have developed and cultivated techniques for successful go-to-market strategies.
My broad experience flexes to fit companies’ growth needs, giving me the ability to balance the constraints of early-stage startups, as well as navigate large company processes and requirements for decision-making. I have worked with technology across product type and therapeutic areas, including cardiovascular, orthopedic, trauma, end-stage-renal-disease (ESRD)/dialysis, and wearables/digital health.
In early 2018 I founded MedInspired Consulting, LLC to leverage my expertise to help companies navigate commercialization activities, drive their technology forward, and improve healthcare for patients across the world.
